Kurahashi Island is located in the southwest of Hiroshima Prefecture, and the end of the south touches both prefectures in Ehime Prefecture and Yamaguchi Prefecture. The area of the island is the widest in Hiroshima Prefecture. A coastline changes greatly, and much nature is left again. It is the important position of Seto Inland Sea, and it has been introduced abundantly in the old Japanese song book as well since the old days. And, there is history when a ship for the trade with South Korea was created before, too.

Ondo big bridge

The arch bridge of the entire length 172m. 1961-year opening.


Karout
The shrine which the safety of the voyage is prayed for to is at the southern end of Kurahashi Island, and there is Ansei( cause issue five-year inscription in the stone tower in the center of the shrine.


Nagakushibana
The work drawn on the island from about the summit of a mountain of Mt of the highest height above sea level 456m, Hiyama.


Dentaroubana Lighthouse

The lighthouse of the height 9m that it stands up in the southwestern cape of the island. By the white color concrete construction, 1974-year lighting. It shines white once in every 4 seconds, and reaches to 24km ahead.


Hayase big bridge
A bridge in Hayase seto between Noumi Islands on the west side of the island. The bridge of the entire length 624m. 1973-year opening.


Shigeo
Higashi Noumi Island in the opposite side of 4km ahead from southwestern Shigeo of the island is drawn. At the back of the picture, Daikokukami Island where height above sea level 469m is uninhabited.


Muroo small island
Kojima who is here so that the coastal waters of the Muroo area which is close at the southern end of the island may be suitable.


Yokoshima
The island which coastal waters from the southern end of the island 500 more m is suitable for. The slender island of 1500m which is a long place width 500m at the small width. It was drawn from Miyanokuti at the southern end of Kurahashi.
