Ohdu Island is the island which floats so that the coastal waters of Yamaguchi Prefecture Tokuyama City may be suitable. This island is the island of 1km which is slender by 7km lengthwise at the side. The building stone of the good quality can be employed on this island. And, there was a fire training base of the human being torpedo "kaiten" during the second great war.

The base mark of Kaiten

The fire training of the human being torpedo "Kaiten" could spread on this island over the line in the end of the war. A building in those days is left at the southern end of the island even now.

Kurokami Island

It is Kurokami Island that the east of Ohdu Island is in 1km ahead. The building stone of the good quality can be employed from this Kurokami Island as well. A mined stone is being used for the construction of the Imperial Palace as well.

Kabashima

This island is an uninhabited island between Ohdu Island and Kurokami Island.

Mikado Cape

�@The cape which projected in the east of Ohdu Island. This opposite side is the stone limit place of Kurokami Island.

Kaeru Island

This island is an uninhabited island to see from the northern end of Ohdu Island. Snake Island is near this Kaeru Island. Incidentally, "Kaeru" is the meaning of the frog.

Itsutsu Island

This island is an uninhabited island in the west of Ohdu Island.

Nakanose

A shoal between Ohdu Island and Kurokami Island.

Raft rock

A shoal in the south of Kurokami Island.
